The Walton Family Foundation is wrapping up the application phase for grants to charter school operators and would-be charter school operators in the Atlanta Public Schools system and other areas.

Friday is the deadline.

Pre-authorization grants are worth $30,000, and post-authorization grants are worth $220,000.

The Georgia Charter Schools Association will notify applicants if they are invited to apply and will provide applicants with a user access code and password to the online application system.
