Canton has made the quarterfinals, and the public is invited to vote for the Cherokee County community as most deserving of 25 cities in the “2019 America’s Main Streets” contest for a $25,000 grand prize.
Online voting began Monday, April 29, in the contest sponsored by Independent We Stand, a national organization of independent small businesses, according to a Canton city announcement. The prize, should the city win it, “would provide seed money for new business growth in the downtown area.”
