Ward 1 Canton City Council members Sandy McGrew and JoEllen Wilson will hold a district town hall meeting 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sidelines Grill, 147 Reinhardt College Parkway.

McGrew said they’ll target items of interest to Ward 1, such as an update on the Laurel Canyon fire station project and pending apartment development. They’ll also lay out and update goals the council arrived at during a city retreat last month. Those include developing a blight management plan, creating a master plan for water and wastewater and re-envisioning the Bluffs area of the city.

McGrew said both Ward 1 and citywide residents are welcome to ask questions and provide input on goals.
