Button Art, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides an art presence in Gwinnett by collecting and curating a wide range of art submitted by local and national artists, is seeking artist submissions related to Gwinnett’s Bicentennial Anniversary.

Button Art will manage, create and install 200 original Button Sculptures printed with images from the winning artworks inspired by the county’s 200th birthday and celebrating the future of Gwinnett. Each Button Sculpture will have a plaque bearing names of sponsors and the artist.

Applications will be accepted from all ages, amateur and professional levels, across all mediums (painting, digital art, photography, sculpture, graffiti, etc.). Selected artists have a chance of winning between $1,000 to $10,000 for various categories such as team art collaboration, most reflective art of Gwinnett’s history, largest social media and more.

Art submissions will be accepted online at www.buttonart.org/call-for-artists between Sept. 1 to Nov. 30.
