A Doraville Chinese barbecue restaurant recently failed its health inspection after the inspector noted several violations, including no hand soap in a restroom shared by both customers and employees.

Ming's Bar B Que on Buford Highway scored 59/U on its health inspection Thursday, according to a Georgia Department of Public Health inspection report.

During Thursday's inspection, the county health inspector noted an employee washing hands at a hand sink that had no hot water and an employee using a hand washing sink to clean a food temperature thermometer. The inspector also noted no hand soap in a restroom shared by customers and employees and raw pork and chicken stored above soups and sauces.

There were also multiple food items being improperly cooled, ready-to-eat foods that were unlabeled without a date of preparation or a date of of discard.

Employee personal items were also stored next to customer beverage items and exposed light bulbs in the main kitchen and in the dry storage area did not have a protective covering over them.

A Ming's Bar B Que owner or manager was not immediately available for comment when contacted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Friday afternoon.
