Braselton’s Mayor and Town Council will hold a public hearing at 4 p.m. July 9 at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 Ga. 53 to consider an application for rezoning to allow for the development of 161 attached single-family dwelling units on Broadway Avenue/Ga. 124.

The proposed development on 21.5 acres bordered on one side by Interstate 85 would include for-rent townhomes. Of the proposed homes, 133 would be 24-foot by 50-foot front-loaded units, and 28 would be 20-foot by 50-foot rear-loaded, alley-accessed units.

The townhomes would be clustered around several large, shared greenspaces. Approximately 44 percent of the site would be left for open space. Each home would have access to four parking spaces, two in the driveway and two in the garage.
