Norcross will permanently close Bostic Avenue to all through traffic between Holcomb Bridge Road and Britt Avenue on April 9.

The city will be turning over a portion of Bostic Avenue to Gwinnett County for the new library project. The remaining portion of Bostic Avenue will be taken over by the Norcross Downtown Development Authority for the Lillian Webb Park Redevelopment Project.

According to city documents, the proposed 22,000-square-foot regional library will provide at least additional 150 space multi-level parking near the corner of Britt and College Street for use by the community when the library is closed.
