The Backyard Chickens Alliance of Cobb County will participate in the annual East Cobber Parade and Festival Sept. 15 down Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. and runs one mile from Princeton Lakes Drive to Fountains of Olde Towne Shopping Center. Supporters and their children are asked to wear yellow shirts if they wish to march.
In addition to entertainment, arts, crafts and carnival games, the festival is a venue for local civic groups and non-profits. The festival runs until 3 p.m.
