The city of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Resilience will have an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 15 at the Atlanta Regional Commission, Harry West Room, 229 Peachtree St. N.E., International Tower, Suite 100.

Discussion at the open house will include “the shocks and stresses that a #Resilience plan is designed to address,” according to chief resilience officer Stephanie Stuckey.

Resilient Atlanta was launched in May 2016 when the city became the one hundredth Resilient City - a program that focuses on strategies to fight physical, social and economic challenges.

Open house visitors will also learn about results from a preliminary resilience assessment and where the office stands with recommendations for a resilience strategy.
