The city of Atlanta Municipal Court will hold Warrant Amnesty Day 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. This special court session will offer individuals who face arrest and other penalties due to delinquent traffic, city ordinance, or misdemeanor violations, the opportunity to clear past violations without additional court penalties.
In order to qualify for the warrant amnesty program individuals must have an un-adjudicated citation filed at court before November 18, 2014 and a “Fail to Appear” for that citation.
Individuals can call the Warrant Department, at 404-658-6959 or 404-546-0311, to confirm an outstanding warrant is active.
Once full payment is received and the case is closed, the court will provide written documentation that the warrant has been canceled.
