App lists Peachtree City yard sales

Peachtree City has advised local yard sale fans that although the supplemental web server that hosted the Virtual Neighborhoods database “died” this winter, a free app now posts weekly sale locations. The feature is part of the Peachtree City App, available for iPhone and Android devices.

Residents who host yard sales must complete an application at www.peachtree-city.org, and use authorized yard sale signs available at City Hall for 50 cents each. Rules about where and when signs can be placed are enforced. Illegally placed signs will be removed. Yard sales are limited to twice per year for each residential address.
