Uptown Rhodes Race 5K

Looking for help with this family friendly event that features a gently rolling scenic course through Ansley Park, one of Atlanta’s most historic and beautiful neighborhoods. The course is stroller and dog friendly (just as long as your pooch is well-behaved, leashed, and under your control at all times). “Pet pit stops” will be located along the race route to provide dogs with drinking water and treats.

Prepare and serve a Meal for youth

The only crisis shelter for youth ages 17-21 serves suffering children of the street and protects and safeguards all children. Seeking volunteers to purchase ingredients and prepare a meal for our youth. We have designed this opportunity to provide a sense of family and community for our youth while sharing a hot meal with community volunteers, staff, and their peers. If you would like, you can host an activity after the meal such as baking cookies, playing games, etc.

The minimum age to volunteer with adult supervision is 16. Court-ordered volunteers are not permitted to serve.

Relay for Life volunteers

Hope Business in a Box Academies

The newly-launched HOPE Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship seeks to harness America’s untapped economic energy by stimulating youth entrepreneurship and creating communities of economic opportunity.

You will teach entrepreneurship curriculum to 10th and 11th grader at Booker T. Washington High School.

Blood drive assistance

Volunteers needed to greet donors, check them in, facilitate required reading, serve refreshments and monitor donors for adverse reactions.
