Talk about having a really cool job.

Matt Duncan is the sales manager at Streetside Classics in Lithia Springs and gets to spend time with some of the best vintage cars ever made.

During a recent tour of Streetside's massive garage, Duncan allowed AJC Classic Cars to review several vintage cars in the company's inventory.

In this video, AJC Classic Cars profiles a 1969 Plymouth GTX. The GTX started out on the product line as a Belvedere. The blackened grill, hood scoops, optional racing stripes, a chrome fuel filler cap, and a tachometer mounted on the center console, set the GTX version apart from the basic Belvedere.

More videos from the Streetside Classics inventory will be coming to ajc.com in the next few weeks.

The show, which included crowning the winner of the 2019 AJC Creepers Car Club Cup, drew a couple thousand enthusiasts and about 100 cars and vehicles from around the Southeast, said Greg Grier, chairman of the show. Grier said the event normally has about 500 cars and attracts 5,000 to 10,000 visitors.-Kristal Dixon

Atlanta - James Collier has always been really good at math. And as a young man, he thought he would try his hand at teaching. “What I learned is that it wasn’t for me,” said the 82-year-old Atlantan with a wry chuckle. However, Collier, who quickly left the eight-grade classroom and went on to have a successful career at AT&T, has found another way to teach. People from all over the world seek him out for his seemingly endless knowledge of Chevrolet automobiles. - Todd Duncan Video by Tyson A. Horne ( Tyson.horne@ajc.com)
