The South Cobb Redevelopment Authority is scheduled to host an open house for a comprehensive market study of the Six Flags area Monday, Feb. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside EpiCenter.

The study is intended to “identify current and future commercial, office and residential opportunities.”

The SCRA, which was created in 2011 to help revitalize depressed areas in South Cobb, currently owns more than 50 acres near I-20 and Six Flags that it is marketing to developers.

One of those properties is the site of the former Magnolia Crossing apartment complex, which it bought and tore down in 2015.

The SCRA has also put out a survey seeking community input for the market study that can be found online here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SIXFLAGS2020.
