A forum about law enforcement and community relations showed the need for additional education on all sides of the issue, leaders said.

The forum, held in Gwinnett County Thursday in response to a statement the county sheriff made earlier this year, was intended to let local residents discuss the state of police relations.

They talked to county leaders and members of Unify Gwinnett, but police weren’t there to listen.
