The DeKalb District Attorney is offering people a chance Saturday to clear their misdemeanor arrest records.

“Records Expungement Day” will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at DeKalb County Courthouse, 556 N. McDonough Street, Decatur.

The DA’s office says people seeking this service should bring four things to assist in the process. No doubt some will come up short.

The four things to bring, according to the DA’s office: driver’s license or state ID; certified copy of arrest disposition; copy of criminal history … and the fourth thing, a positive attitude.
