Dean’s Barbeque is back.

The iconic Jonesboro eatery reopened Tuesday after a legal feud among family members briefly shuttered the 68-year-old business at the end of last month. Last Thursday, the family went back to court where a judge ordered the business reopened, according to Roger Dean, a family member who answered the phone at the business Wednesday morning.

In November, executor Susan Barnes took her older brother and patriarch Jimmy Dean, who manages the business, to court for failure to pay the $575 lease on time, the latest in an ongoing string of issues over the years. Under the lease agreement, the lease could be terminated if the business operators were late three times during the year. Efforts to reach Barnes Wednesday were unsuccessful.

The two sides are due back in court March 22.
