Notre Dame announces that it will be open for the fall semester, which will begin Aug. 10, which is two weeks early. There will be no fall break and the semester will end before Thanksgiving. The second half of summer school has been canceled.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott reportedly is reopening personal service businesses and child care services today. Restaurants can open up to 50% capacity starting May 22.
Abbott says effective today personal service businesses can reopen. Childcare services can reopen. Beginning Friday, restaurants can open up to 50% capacity. Bars, wine tasting rooms, and similar biz can open at 25%. Bowling alleys can open up at 25% capacity also.
