Tiffany Bunch was born in Birmingham, Alabama but spent most of her life growing up in Georgia. She is an Alumni of Kennesaw State University, where she graduated Cum Laude, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she is in her fourth year of teaching in the DeKalb County School District and has served as a lead teacher for third, fourth, and fifth grade. She teaches at Rockbridge Elementary School.

Recently, Tiffany was recognized as the 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year. She is the science/STEM coordinator for her school and serves on the leadership team. During the summer at her school, she designs common assessments to assess students throughout the forthcoming school year. She attributes much of her development as a teacher to her mentors Ms. Erica Mickens, Ms. Tokeeya Mickens, and Mrs. Wendy Nixon. They inspired her to strive to be the best educator possible.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is proud to announce a new community recognition program – the AJC Celebrating Teachers Awards. We believe the very best of the best are worth honoring and giving them the recognition they deserve. This will be a moment of significant pride for the honoree, their family and school.
