"I'm sending you so much love and light and strength your way from my family to yours," Johnson said in the video, tweeted to Angelo Pizarro. "... I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and your mom."

Aileen Pizarro, 43, and Aryana Pizarro, 12, were killed in a fiery, wrong-way crash Aug. 23 with a car driven by Trevor Heitmann, a YouTube star known online as "McSkillet." Heitmann, 18, was also killed in the crash, the Mercury News of San Jose reported, when his 2015 McLaren 650S crashed into a Hyundai SUV driven by Aileen Pizarro.

Angelo Pizarro, 19, tweeted that his mother was a big fan of Johnson and asked friends to retweet his request in the hope that Johnson would see it.

Sunday, Johnson responded with a video that ran for 62 seconds. Johnson said he turned on his phone to find “a flood” of tweets about Angelo Pizarro’s “devastating loss.”

Johnson ended the video by telling Angelo Pizarro to “stay strong.”

Angelo Pizarro said he was thrilled by the video and responded with a thank you tweet.

"I can't stop smiling knowing she's smiling so much. Just, thank you," he tweeted.
