Alpharetta police said Tuesday a man with a gun forced a customer and an employee into the back of a Verizon Wireless store. There, he zip-tied the two before swiping about 60 iPhones.
The robbery happened around 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Verizon store at 5215 Windward Parkway, according to Officer George Gordon with Alpharetta police.
The customer and employee, whose names were not released, were forced to open the safe at gunpoint before being tied up, Gordon said.
After taking the phones, the man left the store in an unknown direction, Gordon said. No information was released on the description of the suspect.
The armed robbery remained under investigation Tuesday.
