Two men tried to rob a southeast Atlanta mechanic shop, shot two employees and drove away from the scene in a black convertible, police said.

The shooting occurred about noon Tuesday at Auto and Body Repair shop along McDonough Boulevard, according to Channel 2 Action News.

One person was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Donald Hannah said. The second person injured in the shooting was alert and conscious, but taken to a hospital for treatment.

Luis Andrews, a mecanic at the shop, told Channel 2 the men came in asking for money.

“He said give me the money, give me the money,” Andrews said. “I said, “No, I don’t got no money.”

Police are looking for the shooters. The shop closed for the rest of the day.
