Undercover investigations have resulted in two men being arrested on child pornography charges, Hall County authorities said.

William Lester Green, 47, and Matthew Steven Stover, 33, both of Gainesville, were downloading and sharing movies and images containing child pornography online, the Hall County sheriff’s office said in a media release Friday.

Officers searched their homes and seized items that included computers, monitors and electronic media storage devices, according to the release.

The men are charged with internet obscenity and possession, and distribution of child pornography, according to the release. They have been released on bond from the Hall County jail, sheriff’s spokesman Chad Mann said Friday.
