A woman is expected to survive after being shot during a domestic situation in a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, parking lot, according to reporter Johnston von Springer.

The man, believed to be the woman’s husband, reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the female before turning the gun on himself, von Springer reported. The suspect has died, according to von Springer, citing an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

The shooting happened Tuesday by a counseling office near Essen Lane and Picardy Avenue, according to reporter Jonah Gilmore.
