The man arrested last week in the fatal shooting of a 7-year-old Chicago girl at a McDonald’s drive-thru has been charged with first-degree murder and police are still seeking several more suspects in the killing, according to reports.

Marion Lewis, 18, faces multiple other felony charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault following the April 18 death of Jaslyn Adams, who was killed in a hail of bullets as she sat in a car with her father at the restaurant waiting for food.

Police said the shooting was gang-related and may be connected to another shooting that left two wounded hours later at a Popeyes restaurant in Humboldt Park, reports said.

A Chicago media outlet called Press Reality reported that the suspect is a local rapper and gang member who goes by the name of Otto Laflare.

Young Jaslyn sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed by a police officer to a nearby hospital, where doctors were unable to save her life.

At least 30 shots were fired in a McDonald’s drive-thru in Chicago and the gunmen sped away — leaving behind a dead 7-year-old girl who was sitting in a car with her father waiting for food, according to authorities.

Her father, Jontae Adams, was shot in the torso but survived and has since been released from the hospital.

At least 30 shots rang out in the drive-thru, and the suspects sped away without a trace. An employee said two people emerged from a gray car in the drive-thru and started unloading on Adams’ car.

The windows on one side of the vehicle had been blasted out, and bullet holes riddled its entire frame and back window.

Lewis was taken into custody last Thursday after being wounded in a shootout with police following a harrowing car chase on the eastbound Eisenhower Expressway, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The suspect was taken into custody after he lost control of his vehicle and allegedly tried to carjack a family traveling in the same direction, reports said.

He was also charged with robbery, aggravated vehicular hijacking, multiple counts of aggravated discharge of a gun, unlawful restraint and possession of a stolen vehicle, reports said.

Investigators said they found two weapons inside Lewis’ car, including an AK-47 with a pistol grip, the Sun-Times reported. Chief of Detectives Brendan Deenihan said bullets from the weapons matched shell casings found at the McDonald’s.

When announcing the charges Saturday, Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown would not say whether Lewis was the actual triggerman but confirmed he was “involved” in the shooting. He added that investigators were still seeking a number of other suspects in connection with “this horrific crime,” the Sun-Times reported.

“You can run, but you cannot hide. We are going to bring you to justice for this crime,” he said. “The Adams family deserves nothing less.”
