Item: Marietta (Cobb)
Louise Clemenger has an issue in Marietta.
“Since the intersection of Cobb Parkway South at South Loop was improved many months ago, this right turn only arrow hangs above the wrong lane. It should hang over the right turn only lane, one lane over to the right in this photo. Please correct!” she wrote.
We sent the issue to the Department of Transportation and will keep you updated.

Road-watcher Joseph Palladi is a valuable resource in keeping us updated on issues throughout the region.
“Finally, the pavement condition on Ga. 400 inside the perimeter has been fixed! The pavement has been overlaid from Sidney Marcus up to the Glenridge Perimeter Connector and the ramps and re-striped,” he wrote.
Palladi has another issue to fix.
“Now if the GDOT staff would take a ride on 400 north of I-285 up into Forsyth County to observe where there is no pavement striping and make a ‘hit list’ of areas needing edge lines, skip, or solid lane lines, etc. While many locations have short omissions, why hasn’t this been done annually? (They should) use an open task order contract to do the work there, and on all interstates and state routes. The locals should also inspect their road’s striping, not just the pavement conditions. Removal of loose debris and stones should also be done more often,” he added.
