The Sept. 14 regular meeting of the Hampton City Council will be conducted virtually. City officials announced that this is because several key personnel are in COVID-19 isolation. Citizens who wish to comment on any general subject in the first public comment portion of the meeting are instructed to send their comments electronically to mbrooks@hamptonga.gov by noon on the day of the meeting, and they will be read into the record by the city clerk. After each agenda item, citizens may type their comments into the chat room and those will also be read by the clerk. The meeting is accessible to the public by phone at 888-788-0099, and the Zoom link can be found at hamptonga.gov by clicking on the “Government” and “Agendas & Minutes” tabs.
