MARIETTA

Marietta Derby Darlins vs. Muscogee Roller Girls

If you’ve never seen a roller derby event, what have you been waiting for? It’s one of the country’s fastest growing amateur sports among women, and the Atlanta area is home to two teams. The Atlanta Roller Girls are off this weekend, but if you head to Cobb County, you can catch the Marietta Derby Darlins as they face the Muscogee Roller Girls. Despite what Hollywood might portray, this team prides itself on hosting family-friendly events that raise awareness about female athleticism.
