How's this for a unique marketing campaign? A Vinings hair salon owner is urging everyone to watch as Bravo personality Tabatha Coffey chews her out on national television. "It's going to be hilarious," said Kim Krohn, owner of Salon Deco, which will be featured at 10 p.m. Tuesday on "Tabatha Takes Over." Bravo has posted a couple of videos previewing the episode, neither of which casts Krohn in a terribly glowing light. "Absentee owner Kim Krohn has an 'I don't care attitude' that has poisoned her staff and left her salon rudderless," reads the text accompanying the video on Bravo's web site. "Will Tabatha be able to give Kim and her husband the huge wake-up call they need to save the salon and their home?" We're guessing the answer is yes and that there's a happy ending, as Krohn is still in business and plans some events to celebrate her Bravo outing. On Tuesday the salon will feature $5 conditioning treatments and $10 shampoo and style services, with proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen breast cancer research organization. That night the staff will gather at Meehan's in Vinings for a viewing party. "It looks worse than what it was," said Krohn, who has owned the salon almost 10 years. "I love reality TV, and I wanted to see how it works." Although the tough-talking Coffey can be seen in the video clips fussing (and occasionally cussing) at her, Krohn said she enjoyed the experience and would do reality television again: "It was fun!"

Atlanta Botanical Garden to star in new film

A movie called "A.C.O.D.," starring Adam Scott, Amy Poehler, Jessica Alba and Jane Lynch, filmed at the Atlanta Botanical Garden this week. The Japanese Garden was converted into a tea room for a scene with Scott and Catherine O'Hara (filming took place at night, after the garden had closed to visitors). In early April, the Rose Garden will be used for a wedding reception scene. He and his family recently stopped by the new Legoland Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza. The movie "A.C.O.D."
