TV best bets with 'True Detective' season finale, 'Cosmos,' Lindsay Lohan, returns of 'Bates Motel,' George Lopez

Linday Lohan is trying the reality TV route on OWN Sunday. Does anybody really want to watch that?

Otherwise, Fox that same night is opting for a more noble cause: resurrecting "Cosmos," the Carl Sagan opus from 34 years ago.

A&E brings the sophomore year of popular "Bates Motel" Monday while George Lopez tries his hand at sitcom comedy again with "Saint George" Thursday on FX.

And HBO closes its successful first season of "True Detective" Sunday.

The mysterious Atlanta-shot "Resurrection" (set in a small Midwest town) debuts on Sunday on ABC.

This covers Monday, March 3 to Sunday March 9, 2014.
