Presidential almost-candidate and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will swing through Atlanta on Wednesday as part of what his campaign bills as the first leg of his "announcement tour."
The Republican's campaign-in-waiting stops in the Buckhead on Wednesday evening after stops in Nevada and South Carolina. And he'll follow up with visits to New Hampshire and Iowa.
Walker is set to formally announce he's a candidate for president on Monday in his home state of Wisconsin, although his campaign accidentally spilled the beans a few days early.
This appears to be Walker's third Georgia trip of the election cycle. He also stopped by Sea Island in March for the ultra-private American Enterprise Institute World Forum. Then he made an oh-so-quiet visit in June. And he's set to be back in August for the RedState Gathering in Atlanta.
