Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed Karen Handel in her bid for governor back in 2010. Now the former VP candidate is once again backing Handel as she faces a crowded primary field for an open U.S. Senate seat.
Palin calls Handel "the only choice if we want something done" and urges her supporters to throw dollars Handel's way. "Trust me, you won't regret it," Palin says.
The timing comes as two other GOP Senate candidates, Rep. Jack Kingston and businessman David Perdue, blanket the Atlanta airwaves with ads that Handel's cash-strapped campaign can't afford to counter. Several recent polls also show Perdue beginning to separate himself from the rest of the field.

This reminds us of Kingston's quotes back in 2010 when Palin endorsed Handel in the governor's race. He told MSNBC that Palin was "dividing the Republican Party at a time when we don't need to be divided" and that Palin was someone who "does shoot from the hip a little bit too much."
