Hillary Clinton's campaign released an ad in Georgia narrated by actor Morgan Freeman, who declares the Democratic candidate has "always stood with us" and that she will help safeguard President Barack Obama's legacy.

The ad, which will run Tuesday in the Macon media market, is also airing in South Carolina. It is the second wave of ads to run in middle Georgia; she announced the first round of ads in Macon last week.

It's part of the campaign's push to consolidate support among minority voters who make up the brunt of the Democratic electorate in the two states by forcefully embracing the first black president.

Clinton is locked in an unexpectedly bitter fight with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has captured overwhelming support of young voters but struggles with black Democrats. Clinton has stepped up her attacks on Sanders, who she claims would jeopardize Obama's healthcare law with his calls for a Medicare for All plan.

Freeman said in the ad she "stands with the president against those who would undo his achievements. Just like she's always stood with us."
