We're getting reports from readers across Georgia's 6th District who are wondering whether they can cast a ballot in the nationally-watched special election to represent the suburban Atlanta district.
The district spans from east Cobb to north DeKalb, and only residents within its boundaries can vote in the 18-candidate field. If not, you will be turned away from the polling sites.
One reader sent word that's she showed up at her Sandy Springs polling site "only to find a bunch of ticked off people who just learned they're not in the 6th." Another said he was sure he was a resident - until he checked his address on the state registry.
The best way to find out is to use the Secretary of State Office's online "my voter page" website to find your precinct and voting site.
