The Midtown HQ had so many people phone banking, in fact, that tables were set up outside in 50-degree weather.
Nunn, the Democrat hoping to take back a Republican seat against GOP nominee David Perdue, didn't speak to those assembled so as not to distract them from their work of calling voters and mobilizing volunteers for Tuesday.
But the former non-profit CEO told reporters that polls have shown the race to be tight, or even a dead heat.
"A lot of people are working really hard," she said. "I'm optimistic."
As for Tuesday night, Nunn wouldn't offer specifics of what she'll be watching for.
"Part of it is we'll look at the threshold of participation around the state," she said. "I'll be building upon the energy we've seen around the state."
