GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Eric McDonald, Montgomery County

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "The 1994 semifinals, Dublin vs. Tucker in the Shamrock Bowl. Dublin won, with time expiring, to advance to the state championship game for the first time in approximately 30 years." [Dublin won 21-14.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "If not me, then Britt Ingle. Coach Ingle taught me the importance of loving kids and holding them accountable."

3. What is your favorite saying/motto? "'Hand on the line!' We use this in our program as a symbol of trust. If we can't trust you to put your hand on the line, not close to it, then we can't trust you to play for us."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I think GHSA rules and policies are on point, but the consistency in the implementation of policies and procedures needs to improve. Also, I know efforts have been made to increase equitability among the classes, but they did not improve the issue in Class A at all."
