GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Bryan Gray, East Hall

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach?"Ten years ago we were an 0-9 team with less than 30 players playing a Class AAA schedule, and the last game of the year our bus broke down, we showed up at kickoff and ended up forcing seven turnovers and pulling the upset." [East Hall beat Gilmer 29-17 for Gray's first victory at the school.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why?"I would want my son to play for Matt Gruhn at Lakeview Academy. For years I have watched him push his players to compete above their ability level, face tough challenges every year of trying to get enough players to field a team, but most importantly I watch him instill character and pride into his players that will last long after their football careers are over."

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach or favorite saying/motto? "Just Compete."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed?"I would like to see the eight contact camp days during the summer to include girdles and pants. Most of these camps result in multiple lower-body injuries because high school athletes are not coordinated enough to break down and stay up. Big hits still happen, kids fall down. In all seriousness, I have never been able to understand in this world of extreme safety concerns why more pads are a bad thing."
