Sandy Creek's streak of weeks in the AJC's high school football rankings ended at 83 this week after the Patriots' loss to Jonesboro. Sandy Creek had appeared in the Top 10 each ranking week since Sept. 6, 2009. Here are the 18 schools that have active streaks of 20 weeks or more. Note that Lovett, Washington County, Aquinas and Marist suffered losses last week that endangered their streaks, but each hung on. Buford's streak of 208 weeks is the longest active or inactive since 1982, when the Atlanta Constitution and Atlanta Journal sports departments merged and began producing a single poll.
