Coming into WrestleMania 33, The Undertaker had lost just once in 24 matches.

But WWE flipped in the script on Sunday, with Roman Reigns joining only Brock Lesnar as the two competitors to have beaten the "Deadman" at the year's biggest event, WrestleMania:

Taker finally made it to his feet, and it certainly looked like this was goodbye:

Undertaker, known for staying in character at all times, stopped to kiss his wife Michelle McCool on his way up the ramp.

Undertaker had beaten the likes of Shawn Michaels (twice), Triple H (three times), Ric Flair and plenty of others throughout his incredible WrestleMania streak.

Reigns' ascension to the top of WWE has been quick, and is one of the most controversial topics among wrestling fans to date. Reigns main-evented WrestleMania 32 against Triple H, winning the WWE title on the grandest stage of them all just one year after Seth Rollins stole the title from him in Santa Clara, California.

The story was set with Reigns eliminating Undertaker from the Royal Rumble and Reigns claiming the WWE ring as his yard. There have been plenty of rumors over the years that Undertaker would be stepping away from the ring, and this seems like the clearest indication that the “Deadman” may very well be done.
