New renderings released of U.S. Soccer National Training Center

Construction of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center continues in Fayetteville. U.S. Soccer released new renderings Thursday of parts of the $200 million center for the nation’s 27 soccer teams.

The complex will comprise more than 200 acres and include more than 12 soccer fields and more 100,000 square feet of indoor courts.

The Blue locker room is one of the two largest locker rooms at the facility. It will likely to be used by the most senior teams on campus.

The National Training Center is being designed by Gensler, who have turned down numerous requests for interviews.

The players lounge will be attached to the main dining space and convertible for other uses.

Blank pledged $50 million toward the construction of the facility, which is targeted to be completed before the 2026 World Cup starts in North America. Atlanta will host several matches.

The ballroom can be used for events, classrooms and education, gatherings and more.
