‘Star’
Lee Daniels' Fox musical drama is now filming its second season. The series tells the story of a girl named Star (Jude Demorest) who travels to Atlanta with her sister Simone (Brittany O'Grady) and spoiled rich girl Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) to try to become famous as a girl group. Queen Latifah portrays Star and Simone's godmother.
What are they looking for?
New faces are needed for the following roles:
"Strip Club Customers" – Men and women with downscale cars, ages 20s to 50s
"REAL Strippers" – women of any ethnicity who can portray strippers in their 20s to 30s. "You'll need to be beautiful, have a nice, fit body and have real stripping experience," the casting read.
"Bartenders/Cocktail" – women of any ethnicity in their 20s to 30s who are comfortable wearing short outfits in a strip club environment.
"Smoking Customers" – men and women of any ethnicity who can portray smokers in their 20s to 50s. You'll have to be comfortable and cleared to smoke herbal cigarettes and cigars on set.
"Make-Out Couples" – couples of any ethnicity who are comfortable making out on camera
"HOT HOT HOT Guy" – good-looking guy who looks like he's in his 20s to early 30s. You should also look like you could be the next "Bachelor."
"Bad and Bougie" – hot, beautiful women who look like they're in their 20s to 30s
When are they filming?
Strip club customers will film on both Nov. 3 and 11 or only on the 11th. All other roles will film on Nov. 11.
How much does it pay?
Strippers will make $250 for eight hours. Pay is $68 for eight hours for all other roles with a $25 auto bump for strip club customers.
How do I submit?
Send an e-mail to star@centralcasting.com, with the role you're submitting for in the subject line. Include your name, phone number, age, city location and recent pictures of yourself.
You should be the only person in your photos, and you should be facing the camera. Your photo shouldn’t be blurry, and no filters should be used.
If you’re submitting for a stripper role, include a photo of you in a stripper outfit, and if you’re interested in a customer role, include a photo of your car.
