A huge saw blade, used to cut large trees, fell off a truck and began to roll down the Chongqing-Guizhou Expressway in China last week.
"I heard a 'bang,' and then I saw all the white smoke in front of me," one driver, identified only as Mr. Xiang, said. "I almost lost control of my car."
The blade ripped into the front of his truck.
The Telegraph said Xiang kept control of his truck and wasn't hurt but has quite a story to tell.
Police said that if Xiang had hit the blade at a more severe angle or been driving faster, the outcome could have been very different.
