A day at the beach turned into a rescue operation after a little girl was left in what some described as an inflatable crib.
The Turkish coast guard jumped into action as Melda Ilgin floated out to sea, the BBC reported.
Her parents had left her in the inflatable crib, but didn't realize that she was gone until other sunbathers at the beach near Ayvacik, Turkey, warned them, according to Anadolu, the Turkish state-run news.
Sky News reported some swimmers tried to get to Melda, but were not able to reach her.
She was reunited with her mother, given a drink of water and the family left the beach, Sky News reported.
