Bernie Sanders, fresh off an upset Michigan victory over Hilllary Clinton, went after his Democratic opponent Thursday night during their debate in Miami.

And Clinton fired right back.

PolitiFact, the non-partisan fact-checking team, was there to keep score.

Here’s what our fact-checkers have found so far:

Hillary Clinton said: “The Clean Power Plan is something that Sen. Sanders has said he would delay implementing.”

Sanders actually advocates for more ambitious action on climate change.

Some experts argue that could delay the plan. But Sanders himself has never said what Clinton is suggesting, and he has supported the Clean Power Act in words and action.

We rate Clinton's claim False.

Bernie Sanders said this: For African-Americans between the ages of 17 and 20, “the real unemployment rate … is 51 percent.”

His terminology was off, but the numbers he used check out, and his general point was correct.

African-American youth have significantly worse prospects in the job market than either Hispanics or whites do.

We Sanders' statement Mostly True.

Hillary Clinton said this about her controversial State Dept. emails: “my predecessors did the same thing.”

This is a misleading claim.

Only one prior secretary of state regularly used email, Colin Powell.

Powell did use a personal email address for government business. However he did not use a private server kept at his home, as Clinton did.

We rate Clinton's claim Mostly False.

Bernie Sanders said this: When Honduran children came into this country, “Secretary Clinton said send them back.”

That’s a bit of an oversimplification.

Clinton set the condition that the government should first identify responsible adults to care for them.

She did express a preference that as many as possible be sent back.

We rate Sander's statement Mostly True.

Bernie Sanders said this:When New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer wanted to “provide driver’s licenses to those who are undocumented. (Hillary Clinton) said don’t do it.”

Clinton waffled on driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants in a debate in October 2007.

When Spitzer dropped his proposal, she came out with a statement supporting his decision to ax the plan to give the driver’s licenses.

Sanders omitted that this occurred during her first presidential race and that during this campaign she has supported driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants.

We rate this claim Mostly True.
