Liberal left hypocritical in support of separated kids

Those on the liberal left are claiming to be upset with the policy of separating some illegal alien children from their illegal alien parents. They wail it is not the fault of these poor children, so they should be released into our country along with their parents. Over 90 percent of those released simply disappear, thus guaranteeing still another DACA demand in a few short years. As I recall, Georgia’s DFCS routinely removes children when the child’s parents are incarcerated for a crime. So, using the same reasoning, liberals should be demanding that criminal parents be released, reunited with their children and not held accountable for their crimes. Illegal aliens fully expect to be released into our country if they have children with them, so they abuse our hospitality and kindness – sometimes even by borrowing children not their own. Shouldn’t American children receive equal treatment?

Americans were right to oppose separating kids from parents

American citizens were right to adamantly oppose the administration’s border control policies that allow for the separation of children from their parents. This type of policy is questionable and raises concerns about human rights violations. We have a sad history as a nation of allowing the government to intern people, which was eventually determined to be part of World War II propaganda efforts to cast Japanese-American citizens as security risks. The commission that investigated the internment determined that racism allowed that to happen – not security issues. If this matters to you, let’s not let history repeat itself. Let’s not put our county in the same category as human right violators that promulgate inhuman treatment in the name of public safety.
