DNC preference for Hillary not surprising
Who is legitimately surprised to learn through release of hacked emails that the DNC favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders all along? And Hillary tells “60 Minutes” she had no idea. Right.
Then we are told Putin was behind the hacking of DNC emails because he would rather face Trump as president. This despite his getting away with everything he wanted when dealing with Hillary when she was Secretary of State. Maybe she should break out the red plastic reset button to revive her campaign.

How can a black person stay safe?
How does one as a black person living in America today go about one’s business without fear and anxiety? If you live in a black community that has a large number of shootings, you have to worry. If you live in an integrated neighborhood, you have to worry that someone might decide you don’t live there and do you harm. And if you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time you may be hassled, arrested or even shot because of how many people view blacks as a threat.
What does one do? Stay home, not go out after dark? Only go out with white friends — if you have any. You tell your kids to listen to the police, as you were told to do as a kid. But times have changed and not for the better, for it is far more dangerous to be in certain areas today than it was 30 or 40 years ago.
What is one to do to stay alive today in a world that seemingly can only see certain things one way? How do you keep your blood pressure from skyrocketing in this present world? How does a black person adjust to this situation, and maintain his sanity? Does a black person have to pay a higher rate for insurance because of the situation facing many blacks?

Trump’s son not of good character
Vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence and N.C. Sen. Richard Burr both stated that a parent can be judged by the character of his/her children and pointed out that the Trump children represent the good character of their father, Donald. It should also be noted that, in 1972, Richard Nixon signed the Congressional law called The Federal Election Campaign Act which forbids foreign countries from donating to U.S. elections. Yet, Donald Trump Jr. has written to members of parliament in the UK, Scotland, Iceland and Australia (much to their dismay) asking for donations to his father’s campaign. It is illegal and immoral to attempt to get a foreign country to buy U.S. elections. So does this speak to the character of the father and the son? It speaks loudly.

Clinton too left-wing to win
Recently, PBS news compared Bill Clinton’s 1992 Democrat convention platform with Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Democrat convention platform. The massive shift to the left is truly mind-boggling. And despite the fact that 70 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the direction the country is headed, Democrats — with the help of the national media — seem determined to make left-wing mainstream and destroy the very values upon which America’s success was built. If Hillary Clinton were running for the presidency on her husband’s 1992 platform, she would probably win in a landslide, but given her 2016 platform, many Americans seem to be willing to support her opponent, despite the number of unknowns that surround his personality and his positions.
