University of Georgia officials said a lecturer in the psychology department violated a school policy that prohibits professors from dating students under their supervision and should be fired.
Rich Suplita did not hide his relationship with his teaching assistant, according to the Athens Banner-Herald. He announced it on Facebook.
This is not the first strike against Suplita. Two years ago, UGA officials concluded he violated the school’s policy by dating an undergraduate student he met in one of his classes, according to the Banner-Herald.
