A man and a woman were killed Monday morning after a shooting at the UNC Family Medicine Center.
Police confirmed the fatalities to WNCN.
The clinic, which specializes in family and sports medicine, was evacuated.
Police are not looking for an active shooter, though no other details have been released.
The clinic will be closed all week after the shooting, which happened, according to WRAL, when there were between 25-35 patients in the building.
Construction workers at the scene told the station they heard nine shots.
