The man caught on camera sucker-punching a protester at a North Carolina rally for Donald Trump, Wednesday, had a special message for the young man.
Inside Edition tracked down 78-year-old John McGraw during the rally and asked him if he liked the event.
McGraw replied, “you bet I liked it.”
When asked what he liked, he replied “Knocking out the hell out of that big mouth.”
The “big mouth” he’s referring to is 26-year-old Rakeem Jones, who was being escorted out of the rally with his friends when McGraw moved to the end of his row to hit Jones. The incident was caught on camera by several attendees.
When the reporter asked McGraw why he punched Jones without warning, he said the man deserved “every bit” of the attack, adding “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.”
McGraw has since been charged with assault and battery, and disorderly conduct.
