A good Samaritan has come forward after hearing that 4-year-old Liam Brenes had his prosthetic leg stolen during his very first trip to the beach over the weekend.

Robert Herjavec, known for the show "Shark Tank," has offered to buy a new prosthesis for the young child, People Magazine reports. Brenes, of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, was born without a fibula and his right leg was amputated below the knee when he was 1 year old.

"It's just heartless," Brenes’ mother, Amanda McFarland, told People magazine. "It's a child's leg. He needs it to be able to get around and function normally."

"It just broke my heart," Herjavec told ABC7. "I mean, to think about what the little boy has gone through. And with everything that's happening in the world and so much negativity, I just thought if I had the opportunity to make him grow up in an environment where he thinks there are some good people in the world, why not?"

"I've spoken to the folks at ABC and Disney," Herjavec said. "We're going to arrange to have him to a VIP tour of Disney and get to go to the park and have some fun in life because it's good to have fun in life."
